There's No Such Word As Can't

At the age of five, my first ever teacher had a big green poster on the wall above the whiteboard. It was probably taller than I was at the time and was the first thing that caught your eye as you walked into the classroom. 

From my first day at school it was instilled in my mind and everything I did. "There's no such word as can't" my teacher told us on a regular basis.

Today this all came flooding back as I struggled with jumping lunges at the end of deathly accumulator at bootcamp. As I urged my burning legs to launch myself up, I (quite loudly) proclaimed to the group..

"I CAN'T!"

This was very quickly shut down by the guy who takes Sunday morning bootcamp, as he yelled straight back at me 

'There's no such word as can't!"

And you know what.. he's right. 

So with Monday upon us, don't let the 'C' word into your life this week. Tell yourself 'I CAN' and get on with achieving whatever you set your mind to, because nobody's successes ever started with "I can't".
